I received this from Amazon and was pleasantly suprised with the quality of the compressor (mostly metal components), the travel bag with accessory pouch and included quick connect air hose. Following other reviews, I obtained a battery clip on adapter as my SUV power ports were only rated to 10amps. After connecting to the battery, the compressor was quiet, thanks to the rubber feet. It inflated a 215/17 tire from less than 10 psi to 32 psi in about 1-1/2 minutes. Impressive rate of inflation. The coupling screws down on the valve stem and the other end connects to the compressor via a quality quick connect. Hands free. The LED light is lit as soon as the compressor is connected to a power source, the compressor runs via an on/off switch. For $60, I have a worry free compressor that I can use anywhere, on just about any tire. As a side, I also ordered the $9 Slime tire repair plug kit which fits perfectly into the compressor's accessory pouch. Now we are ready for the occasional road hazard. POSITIVES: Quality build, powerful, quiet. NEGATIVES: Need an adapter to the battery for cars/SUV's without a 15amp outlet.

After having the "low tire pressure" warning light suddenly come on while on a road trip, I decided that I had to purchase one of the portable air compressors available. This one is as easy to use and is as quiet as advertized. It is compact and with the bag it comes with, easy to store in the car so that it is ready to go. Now I never need to worry about finding a gas station either in town or out. I highly recommend this product for anyone like me who is mechanically challenged, tries to be independent and wants to handle things on their own!

I purchased this item to replace the Craftsman portable battery compressor I had purchased. It would not hold a charge and could not inflate one tire before running flat.
This Goodyear pump is brilliant. Its quiet, quick and easy to use. The flex hose is a great feature as it gives you that extra range to inflate a tire on your trailer while still hitched to your vehicle. The carry bag makes it easy to store in your vehicle without the risk of loosing all the little extra fittings etc.
If you are thinking of buying it....... go ahead, you won't be disappointed.

For me, the i7000 was a significant improvement over the inflator it replaced. The i7000 is relatively quiet and runs smoothly, and the hose length is more than adequate for my needs. I do miss the backlit gauge and automatic shutoff of my old Sears inflator, but the quiet, smooth operation and quicker inflation times of the i7000 definitely won me over.
