| Customer Reviews: GREAT TOOL April 29, 2009 Armand Diaz (MEXICO CITY) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
THIS TOOL IS GREAT WORKS GREAT WITH ANY CAR WITH TPMS SAVES ME A LOT OF MONEY
Great TPMS tool! Activated my TPM sensors in seconds! March 31, 2010 Jason Sepe (CT) This is a great TPMS tool. I used it to activate my sensors on my 2010 Subaru Impreza WRX. Even though it didn't have my model year listed, it doesn't need to know what kind of car it is that you have. It only needs to know the brand of the TPM sensors or you can just set it to automatic and let the device do all the work for you. This was a great complimentary item to my ATEQ which I used to import the serial numbers into my vehicle.
Easy to use, durable product, great price, great packaging.

I tried the TS301 on my GMC Yukon. The TS301 was able to recalibrate the wheel sensors and read the tire pressures.
The instructions are easy to follow.
no customer support March 9, 2010 Delbert L. Fulton 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have tried this tool on multiple vehicles and found it to be marginal at best. Tool description claims to work on all current vehicle when there is no software in unit newer than 2007. No updates listed on autel web site.
Zero support for Chinese junk March 29, 2010 Erik J. Rasmussen (Cleveland, OH, US) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have a 2009 Subaru Legacy and run winter and summer tires. In addition to having an ATEQ TPMS Quickset tool, I needed a tool to activate the sensors. The Autel TS301 seemed to fit the bill perfectly.... until I received it. First of all, the tool only lists up through 2007 model year. No big deal since it includes a USB cable to update it, right? Wrong! Autel has absolutely no updates available on their website. So I gave Autel USA a call. Guess what? The TS301 isn't supported in the USA since it's an Autel China product. Apparently Amazon (or someone) is importing these things and nobody offers support for them. Absolute waste of time. Luckily Amazon promptly refunded my money. I'm replacing it with an OTC TIPS tool.
