Product Description The Denon S-32 wireless network music system with built-in speakers and 2-alarm clock, one of Denon's first two networked audio products, delivers a smart way to play music from your computer throughout the home. The WiFi certified S-32 offers the ability to stream music either via Ethernet, or wirelessly, from internet radio sources and other network attached storage devices such as PC or Mac computers on the network. The S-32 built-in speakers were targeted to have internationally accepted sound reproduction that is excellent for music with a powerful bass response. Its mono-out allows the use of separate subwoofer of one's choice if ever required. The S-32 comes with a clock with two alarms with auto clock set-and-adjust via internet, and FM/AM radio as well as a built-in dock for iPod for easy drop-in functionality.

Perfect price, perfect product, and shipped as promised. April 30, 2009 Anthony J. Fantauzzi 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
The radio is excellent. Control of the alarm volume, from minimal to violently loud, is perfect. I was amazed at the accessability and variety of internet radio. The product came quickly and as described by the seller. Their is high end distortion (minimally) as extreme volumes, but considering the price and size this is an excellent unit.
Excellent sound quality! Internet radio works surprisingly well, even when WiFi signal is of limited strength. February 8, 2010 Minmax 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this radio with some hesitancy, because I live in an apartment building that has thick concrete walls that limit everything from digital television signals to cell phone signals to standard broadcast radio signals. I am temporarily "borrowing" internet access from a neighbor's WiFi, and the signal is marginal when it comes to surfing the web with my computer. For that reason, I doubted that I would get much benefit from the internet radio capability of this unit, but decided to go ahead with the purchase based on other capabilities (and because of the Denon name.) Much to my delight, the internet radio receiver on this Denon works surprisingly well, even at limited signal strength, so I can listen to a huge variety of stations from across the country and around the world.
I'm really impressed with the sound quality of this unit. The speakers provide a huge, clear sound that rivals more expensive (e.g. Bose) brands that I've listened to. The iPod dock works well with my daughter's two year old Nano without needing any adaptor, and the remote control works well with it.
The only challenge that I have when using this radio is when I try to read the display from more than a few feet away when changing stations or functions. However, this is due to my 55 year old eyesight more than anything else and I'm not sure that any of the competitor's radios would fare any better in this regard. The three line display (larger middle line plus smaller point size display lines above and below) is reasonably large and clear, and uses icons as well as text for identifying modes and functions. I'm not sure I would want something in my living room with a huge (obnoxious) LCD.
All-in-all, this radio has exceeded all of my expectations in the 2 months that I've been using it, and the sound is amazing!
Great wifi radio July 30, 2009 Jose Valenzuela 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
Low ipod volume? wifi radio hard to use? No dvd player? I dont know what this user is talking about. To begin with the unit does not come with a dvd player, the volume is lound and crisp and while the radio takes a little getting used to it works fine. My biggest issue is the fact that I was not able to use my ipod itouch 2nd generation. I was able to use my first generation itouch. All in all this unit is well worth the price.
Excellent!!! December 26, 2009 Mark (NY, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This little unit is doing everything I had hoped. The only thing I had a little trouble with was networking with our one Windows XP desktop, but I half expected that, and the problem was easily resolved. The internet radio is great! The streaming MP3s from our computer are great! The sound quality is great. Love it! Not sure I would have spent $500 for it, but Amazon had a deal I couldn't pass on back in November.
Great product, Nice price, Easy setup February 26, 2010 Alan (usa) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Denon S-32 was very easy to setup, took less than 10 minutes to connect to my home network. Built solidly, not a light unit. iPhone users: while the dock does not charge the iPhone, the Sirius/XM app works quite nicely thru it, so that is one option to hear Sirius if internet radio is not enough. Sound is excellent at normal listening levels. Remember, it is technically a clock radio, so it's not made to shake the walls.. Got it in a lightning deal for $149, very satisfied!
